Happy Thanksgiving

Happy thanksgiving, everyone!  I've seen God working a lot in my life and in my family this past year, and for that I am thankful.

I'm posting a picture I did while resting up after the holiday.  I hope you all like it.

    I'm glad you had a happy Thanksgiving, with Gods help. {WARM SMILE}

  2. Thanks, so am I. I admit, I was a little worried about the holidays, but so far I'm enjoying them as much as ever. As for my mouse, I got a book on drawing Furries, and decided to try it out. Unfortunately, I think this mouse wants a story of her own, and I don't have one for her yet. All I know is that she's named Brie, after the cheese. :)

  3. I certainly understand your concern about the holidays. {sympathetic smile, pat arm}

    Thanksgiving wasn't a problem for me, but the friend I lost over summer was Canadian, so we didn't share it. We did share Christmas... I just hope that won't be a problem. {wistful smile}

    If it hasn't been a problem for you, maybe I should be more hopeful as well. {Smile, quick HUG}

  4. I had written a reply about how much it hadn't been a problem, and the computer ate it... twice. Then today I had a bit of a rough day. It had nothing to do with the holidays though, just something came up that reminded me. A friend who had also lost a parent told me to remember that you'll have good days and bad, and to be nice to yourself if you have a bad day. I think that's good advice. (Hugs back.)

  5. Well, my computer didn't eat this, but my provider's dumped it into a spamtrap I almost never go into. I'm glad I found it today. {SMILE}

    Yeah, some of the craziest things remind me of my friend. I spot something she'd love. That's great... except I can't share it with her. Or else I hit a situation she'd really understand, and realize we can't commiserate over it. {wistful smile}

    I think your friend is right. Bad days will happen as well as good days. The best way thru this mess is to make allowances for the bad days, while appreciating the good ones. {smile}
