Happy Easter everyone!

Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by his stripes we are healed. - Isaiah 53:4&5.

Hope you all have a terrific Easter.

  3. It was a lovely Easter. I'm so glad yours was an enjoyable one. We went to Sunrise service (which, fortunately for me, actually starts a little after sunrise, despite the name. Totally not a morning person, here.)

  4. I'm not a morning person, either. Nor is Dad. Even nine o'clock, the usual starting time these days for the morning service, is too early for us. However, they started Easter at 10am, and skipped the late afternoon that day. Perfect for us. One hour makes all the difference. {SMILE}

  5. An hour really does make a huge difference. (I was thinking that this morning when I got up early to help mom, and then spent the rest of the morning blinking and grumbling.)

  6. Yes, an hour can make a huge difference. At nine, we're lucky if we've started to eat breakfast. At ten, we might actually arrive someplace, if it isn't too far away. {Smile}
